Wednesday afternoon - boys river swim!

Frith and Bea squeezed in a river dip in the fast flowing Limmat (near the city center), before Frith goes off to Peru. Link to the YouTube here.

Wednesday afternoon - girls day out!

I had a very girly afternoon with a couple of Ili's friends down by the lake/Theater Spektakel, and caught a fab show with some very old-school clowns (totally slapstick and very funny). The girls had their hair braided, which for them was a highlight.

First violin lesson

Ili is chuffed to now have her own musical instrument (just like her brother!), and she started with violin lessons today.  I sat in on her first class, and met the teacher who is super nice. Well done Ili x

Sunday lake trip, and Manifesta Art Exhibit

A beautiful day on the lake with the four of us relying on one paddleboard. I swam all 2.2 km up to our lunch spot at Monchhof am See so was super proud and enjoyed every minute. Ili had a comfortable and leisurely ride sitting in the tyre being towed, while Bea and Papa took turns in swimming or paddling. Visited the Manifesta Contemporary Art exhibit on the way back in the city center in the evening where Bea of course found another good dive spot!!

Saturday down the River Limmat

Frith and Bea joined with friends and paddled downstream along the Limmat River, where Bea loved swimming up against the river current and wrestling his friend off the paddleboard. Ili and I had a more leisurely morning by the lake. Lovely pic of Ili with our friend's baby. And no surprise, but back to the Theater Spektakel in the evening.

Life this week has been more in the water that out!! We met up with some old friends down at Theatre Spektakel tonight, and the kids were bridge jumping together — Bea and the boys that is, as Ili very sensibly watched on.
