More parental participation at school this week and Friday morning we were in Kindergarten. This is our fourth time now preparing the rather unusual turnip lanterns for the traditional light parade they have every November – and we're still non the wiser as to "why" they do it, or why we do it, although we have learned that a stiff hip-flask helps you survive the night parade! But the children seem to like it! (I think the Scots know what to do with their neeps!!)
